Inkaren

Inkaren

A paper stationery brand formed by six printing companies with different specialties such as binding, gilding, punching, and letterpress printing.
The companies plan, manufacture, and distribute their own products, hold exhibits at events, and hold traveling workshops. Shinoharashiko is active as one of these six companies. The products are sold in retail stores across Japan, with a focus on the Tokyo area. Made with consideration for the feelings of the user, our notebooks are popular.

Jewelry made of paper and gold
“All edges gilt” has been developed as a paper processing technique used to protect books from deterioration since time long ago.
In addition to being functional, the gold leaf applied to the cut surfaces of the paper adorned volumes with dazzling decoration.
Ikue accessories are accessories made of paper and gold, expanding the possibilities of paper and the traditional techniques of bookbinding.
Formed from multiple layers of paper with gilt edges, they are surprisingly light and emit a beauty that seems unlike paper.

Factory 4F

Factory 4F

A place for exchanging and transmitting paper processing information; jointly operated by staff, mainly including All Right.
Workshops and seminars related to paper processing take place on the fourth floor of Shinoharashiko.
There are also regular factory tours that guide visitors through the inside of the Shinoharashiko factory.
We aim to be a place like a “public square,” open to children and locals as well as the people involved in printing and processing.
